Abbey Tripel, Belgian beer. 6 generations of craft beer production, direct from Abacia. Founded in 1784, Brewery Van Steenberge has always been family owned and is now managed by the 6th generation. Bottle-conditioned, or “live,” beers are the most historic examples of beer production. Craeft Masters Abbey Triple is refined, refreshing and captivating, steeped in history as long as abbey chimneys.
Tasting Notes: Pale yellow in color with floral muscat flavors, orange peel and an extra dry finish.
Food pairing: Pizza with pesto, bitter vegetables (brussels sprouts, kale or asparagus), Thai, Indian or Chinese food, roast meat dinner.
Cheese pairing: Brie, camembert, aged chevre, English stilton, gloucester, lankeshir, shimej, stinking bishop, cambozola, gorgonzola, roquefort, danish blue cheese.
